The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Amrita is a 3-year undergraduate online programme designed such that students will be able to achieve professional skills in the early stage of their management career. This course imparts innovative business education with social impact to the students. This programme follows a curriculum which will help the students undertake future administrative and management role. This programme is structured to equip students with education towards socially beneficial scientific research to create business strategies, ideas, products, business solutions and policies that impact society aiming social and environmental welfare.

The Online BBA program is a 3-year programme. You, as a learner can either complete it within the stipulated time frame of 3 years or you can complete it within a maximum allowed duration of 6 years.

Every week, there will be a 1-hour live session. Reading materials and video lectures will be uploaded each week prior to live sessions. A 2-hour discussion forum is planned every week for each course. This will help the students to clarify their doubts and solve the questions/assignments in a timely manner. Approximately 15 weeks of e-content is prepared inclusive of exams. Each week at least 1 quiz will be conducted and 1 assignment will be given.

Each course will be in 4 quadrants, fully following the UGC guidelines.

1) Quadrant-I is e-Tutorial; which shall contain: Video and Audio Content in an organized form, Animation, Virtual Labs, etc, along with the transcription of the video.

2) Quadrant-II is e-Content; which shall contain; self-instructional material (digital Self Learning Material), e-Books, case studies, presentations etc, and also contain Web Resources such as further references, Related Links etc.

3) Quadrant-III is the Discussion forum for raising of doubts and clarifying the same by the Course Coordinator

4) Quadrant-IV is Assessment, which shall contain; Problems and Solutions, which could be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions, Fill in the blanks, Matching Questions, Short Answer Questions, Long Answer Questions, Quizzes, Assignments and solutions.

Yes, every week, for every course, there will be a live doubt clearing session with the faculty, typically for about an hour. These sessions will also be recorded and available for watching later.

In order to accommodate working professionals, these sessions will be held on weekends or after working hours.

Examinations are conducted as per the new regulations through the Online Technology Enabled Proctored mode.

For the July 2024 season, as per new UGC regulations, we will provide a full refund to all students till 30th September 2024 and with a deduction of Rs.1000 as a processing fee for refunds from October 2024.

For all admissions beyond October 2024, the following policy will be followed.

We follow UGC Regulations for a Refund :

• 15 days or more prior to admissions closing date – 100% refund*
• Within 15 days prior to the admission closing date – 90% refund
• Within 15 days after the admission closing date – 80% refund
• 15 days after the admission closing date – 50% Refund
• 30 days after the admission closing date – No Refund
