Dr. Kurunandan Jain is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Cybersecurity and System Networks, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Amritapuri. He is a mathematics PhD graduate from Imperial College London and has won two awards for excellence in teaching from the aforementioned college
Dr. Dayana Das current Chairperson and also serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce & Management, School of Arts & Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri. M Soumya Krishnan currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & IT, School of Arts & Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. She is an MCA (B’Level) graduate along with holding M.Sc (CS) and M.Phil (CS) degrees. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Computer Science in the area of Business Analytics and Intelligence using Machine Learning Techniques. She has been associated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham since 2005.
Mr. Kameswaran S is a practicing Chartered Accountant with more than twenty three years’ experience in auditing and consulting roles .He has taught many courses to name a few such as Accounting & Advanced accounting , Strategic Financial Management, Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation, Cost and Management Accounting,Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, International Financial Management, Financial Risk Management & Project Appraisal. Dr. Parvathi Vaidyanathan has been teaching for the last 15 years and has taught Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Business Law, Human Resource. She received her M.Phil and P.hD in the area of human Resources from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She also holds a dual master’s degree in psychology and psychotherapy.

The Online B.COM programm is a 3-year programme. You, as a learner can either complete it within the stipulated time frame of 3 years or you can complete it within a maximum allowed duration of 6 years.
Every week, there will be a 1-hour live session. Reading materials and video lectures will be uploaded each week prior to live sessions. A 2-hour discussion forum is planned every week for each course. This will help the students to clarify their doubts and solve the questions/assignments in a timely manner. Approximately 15 weeks of e-content is prepared inclusive of exams. Each week at least 1 quiz will be conducted and 1 assignment will be given.
Each course will be in 4 quadrants, fully following the UGC guidelines.
1) Quadrant-I is e-Tutorial; which shall contain: Video and Audio Content in an organized form, Animation, Virtual Labs, etc, along with the transcription of the video.
2) Quadrant-II is e-Content; which shall contain; self-instructional material (digital Self Learning Material), e-Books, case studies, presentations etc, and also contain Web Resources such as further references, Related Links etc.
3) Quadrant-III is the Discussion forum for raising of doubts and clarifying the same by the Course Coordinator.
4) Quadrant-IV is Assessment, which shall contain; Problems and Solutions, which could be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions, Fill in the blanks, Matching Questions, Short Answer Questions, Long Answer Questions, Quizzes, Assignments and solutions.
Yes. Per the UGC regulations, Online degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level shall be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level offered through conventional mode. The following things will be mentioned on the backside of the degree and mark sheets – Mode of delivery; Date of admission; Date of completion.
Yes, every week, for every course, there will be a live doubt clearing session with the faculty, typically for about an hour. These sessions will also be recorded and available for watching later.
In order to accommodate working professionals, these sessions will be held on weekends or after working hours.
Examinations are conducted as per the new regulations through the Online Technology Enabled Proctored mode.
